 Maureen
"Mo" Sheedy: I have been passionately practicing
NonViolent Communication (NVC) over 5 years. My
passion for NVC comes directly from experiencing the
power of empathy. For me, NVC has been the paradigm
shift "I'd had been looking for these last 20
years."
I hold a BA and MS in Education. I have taught over
20 years in the US and overseas. I trained with
Marshall B.Rosenberg Ph.D., the founder of NVC as
well many other inspiring NVC trainers including Jim
and Jori Manske, Jorge Rubio,Susan Skye, and Donna
Steckel. I have the priviledge of sharing NVC in New
Mexico and Arizona before moving to the Tampa Bay
area. Spring 2005, I founded the Suncoast Network
for Compassionate Communication. I am a Certified
Trainer Candidate with the Center for Nonviolent
Communication.
My intention is to help create more happiness in the
world by healing the wounds of the past, and helping
us focus on living in the present with self and
others especially in challenging situations. For me,
NVC is a simple yet profound process which reveals
the power and richness of giving and receiving.
